The project was a design-build project with a fast-track delivery process. The project had approximately 4 months from start of construction to completion in order to be ready for the Sturgis Bike Rally of 2015.

A frost-protected shallow foundation system utilizing a thickened slab was chosen as well as a wood-framed main structure for cost and speed of construction purposes. The project was fast-tracked to allow for early structural construction.  The structural design documents were completed within 3 weeks.
