About The Project
The Deadwood Welcome Center is a new visitor’s center for the City of Deadwood that serves as the focal point of tourist activity. The Welcome Center features a historic museum waiting area as well as additional offices and meeting room spaces for the City of Deadwood. The site provides a large parking area with direct access to the entire city through the city’s public trolley transit system. A steel-truss bridge crosses Whitewood Creek near the Welcome Center.
