A vacant lot adjacent to the Trinity Lutheran Church was transformed into a beautiful small park in the central portion of the downtown district of Rapid City. A small shelter in the center of the park is the primary focal point for the project. Its design was carefully worked through to arrive at a structure composed of heavy-timber trusses and stone masonry.
