About The Project
This project was one of three highway maintenance facilities constructed during 2015 as upgrades to old and poorly functioning facilities. This was an addition to an existing facility.The new facility contains multiple maintenance bays and support offices. The design involved coordination of the foundation requirements with the geotechnical engineer from the SD Department ofTransportation.The building system selection was based upon finding the most economical system for a project with very tight budget constraints.
